Welcome to the Forums 2 Years, 2 Months ago
The Discussion Forums are now live! We're pretty happy about that.

It's pretty small right now, but we're going to be adding some forums that useful for all growers, large or small. We'll also be adding some forums that are specific to some of our more popular products.

Don't be shy. Post your questions or experiences. Let's get this party started!

I was able to speak to some of you at the Farm Show in Tulare. You sparked my interest because I am looking to supplement my income, having sold my business recently. So I am new to hydroponics. However I think I am in a pretty good market area, lots of resturants, farmers markets, grocery stores. You would probably recommend an introductory package like the 612.Would this package produce enough to take produce to a farmers market and pay for itself in a year. For someone just starting what steps would you take, or research materials would you recommend.
anything would be appreciated.

Using the 612 Herb and Lettuce system is by far the best way to learn about growing lettuce and other leaf crops. Until than, the books Hydroponic Crop Production and Hydroponic Food Production are ideal for learning.

You could do a farmers market and pay off the system in a year. You can produce 50-70 plants a week using the system once you get the rotation down. If you got a dollar per plant, you could pay it off in less than eight months.
